Meningkatkan Literasi Sains melalui Integrasi Batik Ghentongan Tanjung Bumi Madura dalam Majalah IPA

Bahan ajar yang inovatif, kontekstual, dan berintegrasi potensi lokal batik Ghentongan Tanjung Bumi Madura diharapkan mampu meningkatkan literasi sains. Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan majalah IPA batik Ghentongan Tanjung Bumi Madura pada materi unsur, senyawa, dan campuran kelas VIII SMP/MTs yang valid dan efektif meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Majalah IPA dikembangkan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan lima tahapan yaitu Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, dan Evaluate. Uji validitas terdiri dari aspek media dan aspek materi yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi menggunakan angket sedangkan literasi sains diukur menggunakan soal literasi sains. Hasil validitas majalah IPA pada aspek materi sebesar 94,79% dan pada aspek materi sebesar 95,14% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil literasi sains siswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai N-Gain seluruh indikator literasi sains sebesar 0,63 dengan kriteria sedang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa majalah IPA yang dikembangkan valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Pengembangan Majalah IPA Batik Ghentongan diharapkan mampu memberikan altenatif media pembelajaran yang menyajikan integrasi konsep sains dengan konteks kearifan lokal khususnya batik Tanjung Bumi Madura.
