Vol. 2 No. 1 (2026)
Articles in Press on Reog are articles that have been accepted for publication and made available online before being formally published in a specific issue (volume and number). Articles that have already been scheduled for a forthcoming issue but whose issue has not yet been officially published may also appear as Articles in Press. This service provides readers with early access to accepted scholarly works and recent research developments before their formal publication as the Version of Record.
There are three types of Articles in Press on Reog:
-
Accepted Manuscripts – Articles that have completed peer review and have been accepted for publication by the Reog Editorial Board but have not yet undergone final copyediting, layout, or formatting according to Reog publication style.
-
Uncorrected Proofs – Articles that have undergone copyediting and formatting according to Reog guidelines but have not yet completed the final proofing process. Corrections may still be made by the authors, editors, or proofreaders before formal publication.
-
Corrected Proofs – Articles that have incorporated corrections from the authors, editors, and/or proofreaders and are close to their final published form. These articles may already have some bibliographic information assigned, although the corresponding issue has not yet been formally published.
Articles in Press are not yet considered the Version of Record, and their bibliographic information may still change before formal publication. Information such as volume, issue, page range, publication date, and other publication details may therefore remain provisional during the Articles in Press stage. Readers should refer to the final article published in the official issue as the authoritative Version of Record.
While an article remains in Articles in Press status, the final DOI is not displayed publicly and Crossmark is not activated. Reog uses a DOI structure that incorporates the final volume, issue, and page range; therefore, the final DOI will be displayed and registered with Crossref when the article is formally published in an official issue. If the journal management system internally generates or assigns DOI information before formal publication, such information is treated as provisional production metadata and is not intended for public use.
After the article is formally published in an official issue, its final bibliographic information will be established and the article will become the Version of Record. The final DOI will then be displayed on the article page and registered with Crossref, while Crossmark will be activated after the corresponding Crossmark metadata has been deposited. Any subsequent correction, expression of concern, retraction, or other post-publication update will be handled in accordance with Reog's publication ethics and post-publication update procedures.
