Journal Status

Reog: Journal of Ecoethnoscience Education

1. International Journal Status
Based on PO PAK 2024 (Kepmendikbudristek RI No 209/P/2024), a high-quality international journal must meet the following criteria:

  1. The published scientific work must be written in accordance with scientific principles and academic ethics;
  2. It must have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN);
  3. It must be written in one of the official UN languages (Arabic, English, French, Russian, Spanish, or Chinese);
  4. It must have an online publication version;
  5. The editorial board must consist of experts in their fields from at least four (4) different countries;
  6. The scientific articles published in a single issue must have authors from at least two (2) different countries;
  7. The journal's address must be accessible online;
  8. The journal's editorial board must be accessible online, and there must be no discrepancies between the listed editors in different editions;
  9. The review process must be conducted properly and correctly;
  10. Each published article must be reasonable, and the format and appearance of each issue must remain consistent; and
  11. It must never have been identified as a non-reputable journal or a questionable journal by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology, nor be listed in the category of dubious journals/publishers.

2. National Journal Status
Based on PO PAK 2024, a national journal is a scientific periodical that meets the following criteria:

  1. The published scientific work must be written in accordance with scientific principles and academic ethics;
  2. It must have an International Standard Serial Number (ISSN);
  3. It must have an online publication version;
  4. It must aim to accommodate and/or communicate scientific research results and/or scientific concepts in a specific discipline;
  5. It must be intended for the scientific community, researchers, or readers with relevant scientific disciplines;
  6. It must be published by a publisher, scientific body, professional organization, scientific organization, higher education institution, or its units;
  7. The language used may be Indonesian and/or English, with abstracts in Indonesian and/or English;
  8. It must publish scientific works from authors affiliated with at least two (2) different institutions; and
  9. It must have an editorial board consisting of experts in the relevant field.

3. National Journal Accreditation Status
Reog: Journal of Ecoethnoscience Education is a new journal currently being developed toward national journal accreditation, with a prospective accreditation target in 2027/2028. The journal is not yet nationally accredited and is currently in the stage of strengthening its editorial management, peer-review process, publication ethics, online accessibility, and consistency of publication standards. The accreditation target represents the journal’s development plan and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future accreditation status.
