IJoRCE Indexed in DOAJ, Aligned with New National Accreditation Standards, and Implements Crossmark

We are pleased to announce that the International Journal of Research and Community Empowerment (IJoRCE) has officially been indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). The journal is now available on the DOAJ website at the following link: https://doaj.org/toc/2985-6175. This achievement reflects IJoRCE’s continued commitment to high-quality, transparent, ethical, and accessible scholarly publishing.

In connection with this milestone, IJoRCE has introduced several updates to its editorial and publication policies to ensure full alignment with DOAJ requirements and the latest national scientific journal accreditation framework under Permendiktisaintek Number 9 of 2026 and Kepdirjen Saintek Number 374/DST/D.D1/HM.01.01/2026. These updates include adjustments to editorial governance, peer-review practices, publication ethics, transparency, manuscript templates, and other relevant publication requirements. The updated policies take effect immediately and form an integral part of this official announcement.

IJoRCE has also implemented Crossmark, a service provided by Crossref that allows readers to verify the current status of published articles and identify post-publication updates. All articles published from 1 January 2027 onward will display the official “Check for updates” button on both the article webpage and PDF file. Articles published before this date will be progressively integrated into Crossmark on the article webpage only, while the original PDF files will remain unchanged.
